Whorlings

You and Tahmores walk on until you almost trip over a purple Whorling.

"Sorry!" you say.

The little Whorling giggles. "S'ok!" he says. "I'm Tino. Just watch where you're going around here, eh?"

You say you will, then duck as you're dive-bombed by a green blur.

You see it's a flying Whorling when it hovers in front of you.

"Sorry!" he says. "I'm Elsu. I wasn't trying to attack you." Elsu settles on your shoulder. "I was trying to get at Bikita, over there."

Bikita looked like an anteater, but you knew she had to be a Random Whorling like Elsu was. She didn't seem like the talkative type.

"What's she staring at?" you ask.

Elsu chuckles. "She's looking for me. My aim's not so good." If a bird could smile, he did just then.

Tahmores says, "Yes, you better get on before she gets worried."

"True," says Elsu. "Oh well. Oh, Traveler, tell Forget-Me-Not I say hi when you see her, okay? Bye!" He flies away.

"Who's Forget-Me-Not?" you ask.

"Me!" says a voice.

"Hi!" says the purple Equine Whorling. "What'd you want to see me for?"

"Elsu says hi," you reply.

Forget-Me-Not giggles. "Really? I'd better go find him, then, so I can say hi back. See ya!" She gallops off.

So intent on watching her run, you don't watch where you're going and crash into another Whorling sitting on the ground.

"Hey!" he complains. "Would you watch it?"

"Sorry," you say.

Tahmores also offers his apologies. "Hawk, meet the Traveler."

He's a Canine Whorling, yet he's named Hawk?

"After the mohawk, of course," the Whorling in question clarifies.

"Oh."

"Do yourself a favor and don't trip over Felix, okay?" Hawk flicks his tail at you and walks away.

"Who's Felix?" you ask Tahmores.

Instead of answering, your guide looks towards a green Feline Whorling sunning himself.

"That is," he says. "Hi, Felix."

Felix looks your way and yawns. "Hi. Sorry, it's my nap time." He curls his tail over his nose and falls asleep.

"Okay, traveler," says Tahmores, "from here, we can go on, go back, visit the Wris'Talorol, Tigons, Hunter Cats, Mequis, or the Wynds of Change, War, Warp, or Mage."
