Whorlings

The next Whorling you meet is a lovely purple Equine with spines lounging by the stream.

"Oh, hello," she says brightly, looking at you with a smile. "I'm Lavender, and that's Hinto behind you."

You turn and greet the winged Equine behind you, and ask her whether she can fly.

"Alas," she sighs, "no. They're a little too small. But they look nice, hm?" She turns a graceful circle and spreads her wings for you, smiling.

"I rather think she lets her wings go to her head," says a new voice.

"I'm Milo," says the Canine Whorling, bowing. "And that's Xia."

The Canine Whorling in question was looking up at the sky, lost in thought. She didn't even notice you until you stepped on a twig.

"Oh!" she says with a start. "Sorry. I was looking at patterns in the clouds." She smiles bashfully, then her eyes get wide. "Er, I'd take a step to the left if I were you . . ."

Luckily, you do, for a small Weezle Whorling leaps up where you'd just been standing.

"Xia!"

"Arden!" Xia responds in the same tone. "Pouncing the visitors isn't a very nice thing to do.

"Says you," says Arden.

You completely forget Tahmores was at your side until he speaks. "We can move on from here, or you can either go back or visit the Wris'Talorol, Tigons, Hunter Cats, Mequis, or the Wynds of Change, War, Warp, or Mage."
