The jungle is unique in that it's the one area on Alnilam that is mostly surrounded by a powerful force field, maintained by the unicorn mare named Kamelion. Rumor has it that the force field is shielding the rest of the planet from the prehistoric creatures of Earth once known as dinosaurs. Kamelion will neither confirm nor deny these rumors and she doesn't leave the jungle long enough to have a conversation about it anyway.
Jungle animals similar to those found on Earth can also be found outside the force field and may have other colorations due to exposure to the atmosphere in addition to animals that have passed through a Gate and decided to stay.
There are creatures in the jungle that have been adopted from other realms as well. They tend to keep to themselves unless requested.
