The idea to give ClockworkDoc a Fairycorn happened exactly as described in
the beginning of the story. I also
drew Paige
so it could be seen what she looks like.

“Fairycorns, I need you,”: I may be channeling The Sarah Jane Adventures here in which Sarah Jane calls her computer by saying “Mr. Smith, I need you.”.
Gary helping ClockworkDoc run the Inkwell: V gave ClockworkDoc the deed to the Inkwell Bar on August 8th, 2008 (hah! I just realized it was on 08/08/08, hehe!) and AL sent Gary Hobson (from Early Edition originally) to give him pointers on running a bar since Gary owns and runs McGinty’s Pub in Chicago.
