Trivia and In-Jokes
About the Story:
Doc helping the Doctors fix the TARDIS had been a running joke between V and
I, so I decided to hijack…borrow OckDoc for a
blog entry. As I
thought more and more about it, I eventually decided to write it out as a story.
The first and fifth chapters are blog entries, and the second chapter was their
end of a
LiveJournal entry of V’s. Chapters three and four are from my own
imagination.
Chapter One:
Jesse hanging out with Medicus: One of my blog’s running gags.
Luke reading Harry Potter: Another running gag in my blog.
Who can call AL “Lee”: That’d be Ed.
Chapter Two:
The portal to V’s journal: Happened in the aforementioned journal
entry of V’s. Also marks the beginning of the running gag of TeenDoc stealing
the Doctor’s sonic screwdriver.
Chapter Four:
The Doctor trying and failing twice to repair the chameleon circuit:
Happened in the Doctor Who episodes “Logopolis” and “Attack of the
Cybermen”.
The tools the Doctor asks for: The neutron ram was mentioned in the Movie and the Ganymede driver and Zeus plug were mentioned in “The Hand of Fear”.
