Trivia and In-Jokes
About the Story:
After borrowing V’s boys for the blog update for November 23rd, I
wanted to write out the party as a story. The first chapter is the blog entry.
The rest is by my imagination.
Chapter One:
It was sixteen minutes past five, Alnilam time, on Thursday, the 23rd
of November, 2006: The paraphrased opening line from the video More than
30 Years in the TARDIS.
“What now?” “Yes, now!”: Lines from the Doctor Who episode “The Mysterious Planet”.
“What am I, a servant girl?”: It’s a line from an episode of Rugrats.
“Except when your very idea makes idea control sick.”: OckDoc happened to be V’s Plot Bunny from Hell and made DocWolf sick by his constant reappearance in her mind.
Chapter Three:
“Huh, this looks familiar.”: AL found the Doctors’ within a roundel
in my story
Eccentric Assistants where the Fifth Doctor was mildly
electrocuted, hence why he won’t go near them right now.
The state of grace: The TARDIS’ state of grace was first mentioned in “The Hand of Fear”. It was damaged in “Earthshock”, though sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
