Artist's Notes: Mirage, now a ghost, is now partially transparent and
glows with an ethereal light. Her eyes, however, still reflect the life she'd
had in them when she was alive.
This is Mirage as she appears now. I put the leaves in the background to
show the transparency. Alnilam vegetation is multicolored, so I used a rainbow
gradient over Paint Shop Pro 8's Summer and Autumn Leaves picture tubes to
achieve that effect. I do hate that you can't see her glow . . . Oh, and notice
my signature, how it's not "LF" anymore? I got married in March, hence why I've
not drawn in a while. :)
